Presentation title: Innovation and Engineering Practice of Green Low-carbon Hydrogen Metallurgy Technologies Oriented towards Carbon Neutrality
Zhao Zhilong, PhD and senior engineer, majoring in metallurgical engineering and graduated from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. The Author is the Chief Designer of MCC Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited (CERI), and an expert member of the Low-carbon Work Promotion Committee of China Iron and Steel Association, and the Deputy Secretary of the Low-Carbon Metallurgy Standardization Working Group of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee, and an expert member of the Hydrogen Metallurgy Standards Joint Working Team of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee and the National Hydrogen Standardization Technical Committee. He has been engaged in the research and engineering application of new green low-carbon ironmaking processes such as gas-based direct reduction ironmaking process, high value-added utilization of complex iron ore, and high-intensity oxygen-coal combustion technology. He has published more than 20 articles in well-known journals at home and abroad, more than 10 of which have been indexed in SCI and EI. He has obtained more than 10 authorized patents. He has delivered many keynote presentations at important domestic and international academic conferences. He has led many international consultation projects, such as the China-Brazil International Iron and Steel Capacity Cooperation Project, the Brazil Vale “ALPA” Integrated Steel Mill Project. He has acted as the Chief Designer for the transformation and upgrading planning of HBIS Group XUANSTEEL Company, and for the Hydrogen Energy Development and Utilization Engineering Demonstration Project of HBIS Group XUANSTEEL Company, which is the first hydrogen metallurgy project in China.
